If I update my information on this web site, am I considered a member
of the Alumni Association?

No.  Updating your information on this site is for our address record file only.  You must go to the membership page and send in your membership fee.
 

Why should I pay the membership fee and /or make donations to the Alumni Association?

The fees and donations are used to fund gifts, grants and scholarships to Spring High School and cover the costs of activities and communications with the Alumni Association.
 

I am a member of the Association, but do not get anything in the mail; how often is a newsletter published?

When the Association began, newsletters were mailed once or twice a year.  Due to the continued rise in the cost of printing and mailing, we have not sent one since 2004.  Our website will replace the newsletter.
 

What are some of the projects that the collected funds of this association contributed to?

Past gifts to the school have included an antenna device "repeater" that strengthened the walkie-talkie signals throughout the buildings and a new improved photo ID machine.  These two gifts made a significant impact on security and communications in the high school.  With your donations, the Association will be able to make future donations to SHS that will benefit all students.  Check out the Century Club page.
 

Does this Association give any Scholarships?

Scholarships have been awarded in the past and any donations designated for scholarships will be awarded in the future.  All other funds will be used for projects that will benefit all Spring High School students.
